Refund Policy

1. Pay-per-book model

BookSmith AI sells one-time credits (single books, bundles, and translation credits). There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.

2. Standard refund window

You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided that:

• No book credit from that purchase has been applied to a book, and
• No translation credit from that purchase has been consumed, and
• No export (EPUB, print PDF, submission ZIP) has been generated from a book paid with that purchase.

Once a credit is applied or an export is generated, that credit is considered used and is non-refundable.

3. Bundles

Bundles (e.g. 3-Book Bundle, Studio 10) are refundable within the same 7-day window only if no credits in the bundle have been used. Partial refunds for consumed bundle credits are not available.

4. Extra translation credits

Individual $9 translation credits are refundable within 7 days only if unused.

5. Upgrades & swaps

We do not offer paid upgrades, credits swaps, or applying past purchases toward larger bundles. Purchase the tier that matches your needs.

6. Credit expiration

Credits do not expire. They remain in your account until used.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact support before initiating a chargeback — most billing questions can be resolved within 48 hours. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.

8. How to request a refund

Email support@booksmithai.app with the email address on your account and the Stripe receipt. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
